These guys are ruff-and-tumble, bush people. Most are farmers and warriors and it's unlikely you'll find one without weapon skills. Even the women fight, as there are no gender roles or inequality. When creating a Vallan, simply think "Could I have met someone like this in medieval times?" if the answer is yes, then they are perfect, but if the answer is no, then you'll have to re-think your character. Gypsies A Gypsy is a wanderer. They are a nomadic people, hated by the Vallans. Very cultural, they have a deep love for music and storytelling and have a rich mythology. They live off the land and used to travel in large family groups made up of many members of extended family. However, these days they often travel in small groups or on their own, only gathering together on important occasions or in sacred places. Gypsies tend to be tall, with darker skin, large eyes and lips and thick, flatter noses. They also tend to where elaborate clothing and talk with flowery language. Most Gypsies are merchants or traders. |
