However, I also go by the names "Newwy", "Newton", "equinelove" and from such exploits as real life, "Eilish" or even at times "Fetish". But it does not matter what you call me. You can call me "Great Mistress of the Universe" if you wish. But enought about me. What matters is you and this wonderful place called When the Dust Settles (WtDS). WtDS is a personal project of mine, a high fantasy medieval novel originally written for a school project, now something I truly love doing. But what is this WtDS RPG? It is something I dreamed up while writing my novel's history. I had a lot of trouble with the recent history (namely some of my character's past relationships and story archs) and WtDS RPG was to be the solution to those problems. While writing WtDS, I found it was very similiar to a typical action RPG, the way the characters developed and the relationships formed all seemed very RPG to me. And so I decided to create this forum, to allow my dream of WtDS RPG to come to life. That is where you come in. I entrust onto you wonderous people the chance to shape the past and future of the land of Estora, to help create something amazing. Since WtDS itself is very much still a work in progress, through WtDS RPG I hope to be able to expand my understanding of my own worlds and characters, to be able to properly see and understand how character would react to certain situations and how others feel about the rules and laws of the world I have created. In the end, WtDS RPG is much like a study, an experiement. An anthropological study of a fictional world, and experiment to see how my own characters and worlds connect with other's. In the end I am given the world an opportunity to look into my mind, to see how I live. Because even though I live out my life, I live out my life for Estora, for When the Dust Settles and ultimately, for you guys. Because I not only want to share the past of my story with you. I want to be able to put a giant list of members names in the back of When the Dust Settles should it ever be published, because it's not going to be the same without you guys. You are the past. You are the present. And you are the future. Estora's future. I encourage you all to leap in heart first, because sometimes you head is just to logical to see the true wonders of creativity and imagination. So I welcome you to Estora. I welcome you, to When the Dust Settles.

[atrb=style,width:500; height:500;background-image:url(http://i41.tinypic.com/2h6zfip.png);background-repeat:no-repeat;border -collapse:collapse,1;][atrb=border,0,true] g'day. i'm ary/arylide/arypoo/you there. and birdily, to those of you on deviantart. i'm the co-admin of wtds and i would like to cordially welcome you (god, corny phrase but i'm sure you understand the sentiment) to our site. as newton has already told you what wtds actually is, i think i shall just tell you a bit about myself and my role here. i'm an insane chick, just sane enough not to be in care and just crazy enough to know how to have a good time. c: after that you're probably wondering if i bite. well, the answer is no... but if you shove a medium rare steak in front of me i'm not adverse to giving it a good ol' chew. incidentally, i think itallian food is possibly the best thing the world ever invented. jane austen, will shakespeare, agatha christie and dorothy l. sayers are probably my favourite authors. (yeah, that's crime and classics right there folks.) i also play the piano and ride horses but that's another story. i started rp'ing two years or so ago, mainly playing horses but also the odd human. i've been involved in a few of newton's sites and a few of my own but wtds is something we are both really passionate about and something we've worked very hard on so we're excited to finally reveal it to the public. i'm the art and coding director, because that's what i like to do most besides rp, ride, read and be musical. so anything art or coding related please come to me about because that's where i can help you. i can also answer most of your questions about the site but i'm learning as i go... so if it's a curlyquestion i may just have to pass over to newton. this is her brainchild after all. so yeah. that's me done. please feel free to tell me about yourself in the ooc section or via pm. it's always good to get to know your fellow roleplayers. welcome to wtds. i hope you enjoy your stay.
