Hla Castletown

In the centre of Hla lies a large city, Hla Castletown, built around the glorious Hla Castle, home of King Hadrian. The city is surrunded by a large wall, making it much like a fortress. The gates to the city open at sunrise and close at sunset and once a week, farmers from the outskirts all bring their crops into town and the main street is transformed in to a giant market. The castle itself is a soaring structure, with spires and flags billowing in the wind. Each storey within the castle opens out onto a large balcony, patroled by guards. The highest watch point can see right out over the valla, and on a clear day you can see Mt Tora.
