Barri Dand Mountain Literally, Big Tooth Mountain, the gypsy name is quiet accurate. The mountain juts out of the ground very suddenly, with sheer cliffs on most sides. The north side, however reveals an narrow inlet which reveals a series of crystal lined caverns. The deeper into the carverns you wander, the brighter the blue-green crystals seem to glow. Eventually, the caverns lead to the large, flattened plain that is the very top of Barri Dand. Easily two kilometers in diameter, it holds a beautiful spring and many fruit trees. A popular camp site, you will often find a large gathering of gypsies selling their wares to the wandering Vallans. |
